Project Laser

Project LASER

Project LASER is the ongoing search for off-air recordings. We have already uncovered many recordings that have been forgotten about or have been stored away in lofts and attics. We have even found a few at car boot sales.

We’re looking for original off-air recordings of LASER558 so that we can remaster the DJs and use them to reintroduce the hits on LASER558. If you listen to our shows, you’ll notice that we have used introductions from original broadcasts to keep the feel of LASER558 as close as possible to those great times in the 1980s.

If you have any taped recordings, please message us through our Lasergram page, and we’ll contact you. We’ll then ask you to send them to us with your name and address. We’ll take great care of them, copy them in our professional production studio, and return them to you. You’ll then be part of building LASER558, making it bigger and better. As a ‘Thank You’, every listener who sends us original broadcasts on tape will receive a mention on our website.
